We stayed here instead of a traditional hotel for work travel. It was a very comfortable setup, and it allowed for proper rest after a days work. The facility was charming, comfortable and provided everything we needed for our stay. The on site restaurant was also great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will return for sure!

It’s a building with a lot of history, great quality of materials, beautiful service and in proximity to downtown. Even the IT system was down, they found ways to make the check out for all customers, without huge waiting time. The manager and receptionist was really helpful with a specific request, that will remain forever in my memory, as they helped and after mentioned it was complementary from the house. Will never forget!

Lovely and friendly staff who were very welcoming. The location was perfect for me, as it was next to a stop of point for the maas cycle route. The restaraunt did delicious food, and I could store my bike in the cellar securely.

The exterior of the hotel is rather off-putting, but once inside it is another story. Our room was large, the beds very comfortable. And the bathroom floor was heated! We ate supper at the hotel and the service was 100% perfect. But then came the breakfast buffet. I have travelled a lot but this one was one of the best. Well presented with a large choice. There was even a waffle iron to make your own waffles,

There's not a lot happening in the town itself, but the area...

There's not a lot happening in the town itself, but the area around the castle was really nice and the restauarant at the castle was amazing. We did a tour of the castle as well. We even got to watch a horse riding / show jumping competition at the arena next to the castle. Would highly recommend it for a chilled and peaceful weekend to recharge. Easy travels with train from Amsterdam to Sittard and then a short bus trip to Limbricht. The castle is about 8 minutes walk from the bus station, so very convenient.
