The hotel feels brand new. Check in was easy, fast and efficient. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to free coffee and tea at any time. Parking is free and easy. Breakfast was probably the best that we have experienced so far in any of the Scandinavian hotels. Room size is good and the desk and power points work well for using a laptop computer. There are also USB charging point at the desk. WiFi is easy to set up and is fast and reliable. Nice views from the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The bathroom works well and is a reasonable size. The beds are comfortable and heating is comfortable.

Beautiful apartment with every modern amenity. Clean, comfortable seating and bed. Bonus was a washer and dryer that the host turned on through an app so that we could do laundry after a week of travel. Spacious with beautiful views. We ordered delicious takeout from Haandverkeren and ate dinner on the lovely balcony. Host was very accommodating. It was a very warm day but the airconditioning kept the apartment cool and comfortable.

We have the whole house. 2 floor with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and a huge living room on the 2nd. Modern facilities, everything looks new and shining. Such great value!

I can't say enough about this place. The host was incredibly helpful. This was the absolutely the best place we've stayed at on our Norway trip. All I can say if you pass this one up it will probably be your worst decision.

I went to Kristiansund primarily because it is so well...

I went to Kristiansund primarily because it is so well connected and I wanted to visit a small Norwegian town on my way to Trondheim. There is not much going on here, but it is still an interesting place to visit for sure. And make sure to take a ride on Sundbåten, it is rather lovely.

Maybe we missed something, but the city didn't have much of a vibe to it and seemed mostly a place for a pause on the way to somewhere else. The town is built on 3-4 islands and has a free water bus to carry you to the different parts, but there really doesn't feel like there is a "center" and the "pedestrian zone" in the main city (Kirkelandet) was deserted. The "old town" in Innlandet was quaint but was mostly residential with no restaurants. From the perspective of a "real" city not overrun with the day-trip cruiseboat hordes, it was a nice change, but it is not really scenic. Having been virtually destroyed in 1940, this is understandable (unless you are a fan of post-war construction)

I liked the location.

I liked the location. I did not like at all that the contact person was extremely lightly and did not answer my calls, and then did not respond to the problems, which were: the full trash can under the sink, the non-working TV with a broken socket and most of all the damaged door to the bedroom. When it closes, it gets out of the chute because it's sliding and you end up getting locked in, like it happened with us and you can't open it more. And the host, he doesn't even answer your phone or answer your messages. Extremely irresponsible person!!!

Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a balcony but the view was blocked by a large building. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty of choice. Nice communal spaces. You can park either in the hotel car park or on the street. I think the hotel car park maybe cheaper than street parking during the week, but at the weekend parking charges on the street end at 16.00 on Saturday and it’s free to park on Sunday. Street parking charges start again at 8.00 on Monday.

I felt welcomed immediately by the host and their cats. It felt like coming home: both in terms of the vibe and the facilities. You'll have basically everything you need at your disposal, and more. As someone who's used to incomplete kitchens filled with the cheapest stuff from Ikea, this is a very nice change. The place is in central Kristiansund too, it's a short walk to the city centre. We didn't have a car and didn't feel like we needed one here.

Friendly and helpful staff. They recommended some restaurants nearby and those were very good. Central location, great breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, affordable parking next to the hotel.
