Bright and modern, self-contained apartment in an owner-occupied home. We never met the owners, but they were very responsive. Key pick up was a cinch, with a lock box at the front door. Parking was beside the house. Appliances were new, kitchen well equipped (although I didn't find a toaster), linens were high quality. The location... ahh, the location. Spectacular drive over an awe-inspiring bridge to get to this small town on an island off the western coast of Norway. Tiny town, but with a supermarket open 6 days a week and a local pub we never had the chance to try within walking distance.

Great location, I highly recommend taking the boat for fishing. If any equipment is missing, it can be purchased on site without any extra charge. There is a convenient area for cleaning and freezing the fish. Beautiful landscapes just a few hours' drive away. The hosts are very friendly and it is clear that they love their job. Highly recommended!

Room was OK. Curtains did not keep daylight out. Breakfast was OK, but not exceptional. Limited choice, trays not always kept filled.
