    Went to Caravan and Camper Show at Mystery Creek which was excellent. Also went to Raglan and visited a business in Auckland. Hamilton Gardens enclosed gardens were fun with good cafe. Hamilton is very handy to a lot of places. Would have liked to go to Blue Springs in Putaruru, and also do some walks including a visit to Bridal Veil Falls.

    It was what we needed for our short stay...

    It was what we needed for our short stay... We would book again...at this particular motel... We did not sightsee as we were only there overnight.,.maybe next time we are in Hamilton for a longer visit 😀...

    Loved Field Days (went back an extra day), Hamilton Gardens...

    Loved Field Days (went back an extra day), Hamilton Gardens & Cafe - Big Breakfast is fantastic here, Furnace Steak Restaurant food and service were great. Use Google Maps to get around. All road works, accidents, rerouting - its all there. Fantastic. Couldn't have been easier.

    There were so many drug related people around the main...

    There were so many drug related people around the main center and especially homeless people everywhere. I went to watch a cricket game at the Seddan Park and there were about 6 homeless people often asking for money. I felt unsafe walking around the park. I tried to go out for tea with cricket families and got harassed again by the huge amount of homeless people on the sidewalks and fights broke out on the street outside a restaurant that we were eating at. We left as cars were racing down the main road and it was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation outside. It was my first time staying in Hamilton and going out to eat, I will never go back again.

    Good town to visit with lots of activities and places to visit within a few minutes walk or 15 - 20 minutes drive. Easy walking around city center, with a good selection of cafes and restaurants, with great food options.

    Highly recommend this hotel!The location is fantastic – plenty of parking available, and it's within easy walking distance to the largest Pak’nsave also very close to an Asian grocery store. The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to answer any questions, making you feel right at home. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hamilton!

    This hotel located Hamilton is the middle of Auckland city to Matamata , waterfall, etc. Peaceful neighbourhood. Easy access to hamilton city. Near pak n save. Kitchen complete with stove electric, rice cooker, microwave, etc dining table, Price was reasonable. Easy parking space. Nice landscaping. ;) Can check in late night @9PM

    Vicinity and friendly staff. Got a free upgrade - Thank you VR Hamilton! Although this hotel has seen better days - it looks like the owners are making attempts to update her. I myself appreciate the decor of days gone by. The hotel was clean, quiet, safe, dry and warm. Had city views from my room.

    It is central. Walking distance to a choice of restaurants and shops if you want to go shopping. The bedding and towels were spotless. The property is aging and showing that. It was the cheapest I found and you get what you pay for.
