A beautiful part of the world. 1 extra night to explore the place would have been nice. Hotel located with in walking distance to shops, pubs and restaurants. Staff at the hotel were lovely. Loved the walk out at the end of the peninsula and the abundance of seafood on offer. The boutique shops offered things not available in other places. The views out to the ocean were amazing. Went there for the dolphin cruise and wasn't disappointed! Very professional outfit, and we were lucky to score near perfect conditions and of course, the delightful dolphins! Only one night spent in Kaikoura as it was on our way Christchurch to leave NZ later the same day of the dolphin encounter (sadly). Didn’t expect Kaikoura to be such an amazing tourist spot to visit and its activities. The environment was too good, everyone were friendly, from supermarket, restaurants and to activities.
