A lovely cottage in a quiet, countryside location with a view, own parking area and a small private garden with a picnic table. Our Hostess met us as we pulled up in the driveway, handed us the key and gave us a quick tour of the cottage. It was also super convenient to have our Milford Sound tour operator pick us up from the gate at the end of the driveway (rather than having to drive into town).

Our stay at Cabot Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip to NZ. It is a magical, idyllic location and our hosts Brad and Breidi and their team welcomed us with kindness and thoughtfulness in their attention to detail. We loved the Barnyard! This place is a peaceful haven, surrounded by deers and scenic views. The room was large and comfortable, hot shower excellent, the common areas inclusive of kitchen spacious and cosy. And Nina was a lovely host. We loved our 4 nights there and wished we could stay longer. Will definitely return!

It's a great place to stay. Everything is very clean and the bathroom is bigger than in my own house. Parking is easy and shops/restaurants are at a walking distance. I decided to stay longer to enjoy my holidays.
