Despite claiming only a shared bathroom, our suite had a private bathroom, including shower. I'm not sure if the others did. Lodge has a well equipped full kitchen and good wifi.

Stunning view from the ocean, to waves of vineyards onto the mountains. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the grill to make our dinner. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Ugbrooke Country Estate is a recently renovated guest house in Lower Dashwood where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, free bikes, and garden.

Alex and Peter were so friendly and kind. Their dogs are very friendly too. The property was beautiful. We enjoyed a very nice dinner. We even pet their horses! What a place! We enjoyed the many conversations about life in New Zealand.

Very clean room! Great space and design. Great value. Shampoo and shower gel are all from natural ingredients and very fragrant. The hosts were very kind and friendly.
