A magical place, no other camps nearby. Said is a wonderful host, he met us to guide us to the campsite We enjoyed beautiful dates, tea, and coffee and then walked up the dunes to watch a great sunset. Our dinner was beautiful - fish, chicken shwarma, bread, rice, hummus, dips, melon....we were the only ones to stay and slept under the stars rather than the tent.

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Our stay at the desert camp was truly unforgettable! The camp was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hospitality was outstanding, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was also great, both dinner and breakfast offered great variety and delicious flavors, perfect after a day of adventure. Stargazing at night was magical, with the clear desert sky filled with countless stars—a truly mesmerizing experience. During the day, the thrill of dune bashing was an absolute adrenaline rush, adding excitement to the tranquility of the desert. This place is so beautiful. The garden created such relaxing atmosphere. The playground was the highlight for our kids. The bed was comfortable and we got an additional mattress too. The staff was really helpful. There was quite a space in the back yard to hang our laundry. We drove to the nearby sand dune in the evening. The view was fantastic and there was enough sand for the kids.

We had a great time in this camp. It's located a bit further then other camps, which ensures privacy and peace. The camp has a cozy common area where you can socialize with other guests and drink tea/coffee and eat dates. The beds in our tent were the most comfortable we slept in all Oman. Our host Saíd speaks fluent English and is ready to answer all your questions about the desert, beduin life, camels and so on. He also took us dune bashing (riding in 4x4 car across the dunes - great fun) and to see the sunset in the most beautiful place. They really went out of their way to make our stay in the camp special. They made delicious traditional dinner for us and then we sat around the fire and drummed and danced traditional dances. I can totally recommend.

Our experience at Zahr AlBun Villa was truly exceptional. The villa was beautifully authentic and perfectly located—peaceful yet close to everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. Communication was easy and fast, which made us feel very well taken care of. There was also a dedicated staff member on-site who brought us breakfast every morning and ensured everything in the villa was in perfect order. Very nice camp, host was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Had lots of omani coffee, dates, and fruit. Showed me his camels and I got to help feed them. We also went quad biking in the dunes which I thought would be scary but it wasn't. Went above and beyond to give me a good experience, I am celiac and explained that I can't eat gluten and his sister made me a special breakfast. Pickup was easy and straightforward. Beautiful sunrise and sunset watching from the dunes. Best calue for money that i have found in Oman. Highly recommend!
