This resort is a hidden gem, what a wunderfull place. The cabanas are spacious and clean and they have a big bathroom with a hot shower. Even a hot and cold water dispenser is in the room so instant hot coffee in the morning. A big outside kitchen is available for the guests, fully stocked with two gas units and two bbq's. The hosts are wonderfull and give you a warm welcome. It is a short walk to the centre of Burgos with restaurants and shops. Close to the beaches and there is a small lake where you can swim close to the resort. I will book here again for a longer time.

It was such a beautiful homestay, you get a small apartment to yourself. Its clean and look like the pictures. I really enjoyed my me night there, I’d love to have stay longer. It had a little kitchen and they provided you with drinking water.

We had such a lovely stay at Zia Homestay! Our initial room had a small issue, so the host offered to upgrade us to another room, which turned out to be a full size apartment! Absolutely amazing customer service. Besides that the lady was so friendly. I wouldn't call the accomodation luxury, but it has everything you need as a backpacker. Comfy bed, it's reasonably clean, hot shower, AC, well equipped kitchen area etc. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great experience! Vangie is super friendly, an amazing cook, takes great care of her guests and is super helpful with any requests you may have! Jenn and Derek are great, caring hosts! Their dedication to support the local community is very inspiring! Furthermore, they even helped organizing transfers and medical care on the neighbouring island after a surf accident - which we are more than greatful for! This reflects the caring and supportive environment they created! Best accommodation you can find on the island:)

Can’t fault this property. That staff were unbelievably helpful and welcoming. It was in a great location for surfing and the rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. Would 100% recommend staying here

We stayed in cabin 8 and after booking for 2 nights we ended up staying for 11 nights as we liked it so much. It’s on a big block with a beautiful garden. Our cabin had everything we needed including our own drinking water dispenser and a kettle. The ac worked really well and even had a communal kitchen we used quite a lot when we didn’t want to go out. With a scooter it’s close to lots of food places including Beshie's Brew & Bites which does a great fish and vegetable curry as well as bbq sticks and whole bbq fish at night. Also enjoyed Ella's Hauz Cafe which was another great value place which does burgers and filo silog meals, I loved the bacon one. Their halo halo is also really nice It’s also close to the beaches and not from Taktak Falls

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, from booking our scooters and surf lessons to giving us amazing tips on what to do around the island. They treated us like long-time friends and made us feel very welcome and at home. Our stay there wouldn't have been close to as good as it was if it was not for them. Many of the nicer and less touristy spots we went were because of their tips.

    Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao.

    Burgos is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Siargao. It's a lot more peaceful than down south but there are beautiful and much les crowded places to explore. There's good 4G signal so you can stay connected but just travelling 15 minutes further north and you're totally off grid which is great. Easy to get to Secret Spot and Tangbo beach for surfing, Alegria beach for tanning and swimming, Tak Tak falls for cooling off in the heat, Kolekbibo, Lokal Hub and Izustarri for tasty food/drinks and lovely views!
