oh wow...Peace of your own paradise. Deep(!) pool overlooking ocean from higher cliff, hidden steps down to small private beach with palms and diving hut; in the ocean - coral garden shining in setting sun...and I've met turtles!:) In the room: everything you need, super comfortable not too soft mattress, beach and home towels with great water absorbing fabric(Finally! i dont know what it is with fuzzy plushy towels in the Philippines:)) they are everywhere and just smear water around:))) Super tasty breakfast options, wonderful pumpkin soup! and amazingly kind and helpful owners!:) I got my breakfast much earlier in the morning to make it for Whale shark swimming and a lot of help with local tips. So many waterfalls around! and diving snorkling options everywhere. Also italian restaurant at walking distance. it was a pure pleasure to spend 2 days there and to meet you guys. Thank you!:)

Beautiful place, incredibly kind and welcoming host family. They shared so much about the culture and way of life, made tea for my sister when she wasn’t feeling well, offered great recommendations of places to visit and how to get there. Ginatilan seems a little far but it’s so worth it to come here. Everyone in the town is super friendly and there is very tasty and affordable food, especially at the public market. It’s easy to arrive and go around by bus, we also chose to rent scooters in Moalboal and this was an especially fun way to explore south Cebu and the waterfalls. There are two rooms available, both in the upstairs of the house, and they share a bathroom and large balcony overlooking the sea. If you have a larger group and book both rooms, it would feel like you have the upstairs to yourself, or it could be a nice way to meet a few fellow travelers without feeling like you are in a busy/touristy place. Our only piece of advice is to bring your own coffee if you don’t like instant. Ginatilan doesn’t have coffee shops that open early, just a few iced coffee drink places that open around 10am. Also you can swim in the sea right outside the house, but the beach is a little rocky so it would be good to bring water shoes. All in all we loved it here and hope to go back someday!

The location is very good . Our car can park inside the compound. The view is fantastic. food is good. We are very lucky the owner, Marilyn was there we finally met . She also sees to it that the guests / us are comfortable in their place. The staff are helpful. It is also pet friendly.

We stayed at Pobla at first night in Cebu, the housekeeper and her husband Eric were very welcoming. The room was very clean and Morden, housekeeper told us the hotel just open a month before we stay there. Eric took us too whale shark seeing spot the next morning with his tricycle, it was a joyful ride with Eric! Highly recommend Pobla hotel if you are planning to visit Oslob!
