Away from the city's hustle and bustle, the last building in the village brings tranquility, situated on a hill in a jungle, with a garden full of lush vegetation, and cool mornings. We felt safe and slept well. Benjamin is always there with advice and recommendations. Kristine cooks fresh and tasty food, priced at decent rates. There are two common areas to relax and admire the landscape or vegetation, and they also have a pool. Located halfway to the underground River tours, it's ideal for the morning pick-up of the shared transfer; you're picked up last, so you avoid the crowds and stops at other hotels, then on the return, you're the first to be dropped off, which is wonderful because you're tired after the tour. You can reach Porto Princess city or Honda Bay Wharf by public bus or shared van if you want to try the Island Hopping Tour. They also offer transportation or you can move around with a scooter, which they have for rent, by bus, or shared van. It's so pleasant here that we extended our stay by another day. The room is spacious and bright, very well equipped, with a solid door and thick windows. The furniture also seems to be made to last. The frame of the comfortable bed, for example, is made of solid concrete. There's guaranteed no wobbling or shaking :-) Probably it may be better to not choose a room that is right beside the water bar. In our case we were "sound" directly from the loudspeaker. However, the bartender immediately turned down the volume once requested. The bathroom is a dream and the design exceptional. We had the version with the bathtub (plus an additional shower). The water heater works excellently. However, one should strictly follow the instructions (set power to "P4"). Otherwise the fuse will blow up. But if you have any questions, the friendly staff will help for sure. The pool has a good size and is clean. Here, too, a lot of attention to detail was obviously put into the design. It reminds me a bit of a Roman bath sometimes seen in movies (in a positive sense).

Although we only spent 1 night there, the owner was extremely helpful. He helped us book a tour for the next day in Puerto Princesa, then arranged our transport from the tour straight to El Nido, and even helped us book a tour in El Nido for a cheaper price. Everything went smoothly , we were picked up everywhere as planned. The hotel itself is also really nice, it's a small, family-owned business with nice rooms, aircon and good food for a good price.
