The house is very clean and cozy. Shared spaces are also very clean and well organized. The house is not in the center so the neighborhood is quite which is really relaxing in the evening and people can rest and sleep well, while in the center this is not possible at all. We had great experience and I would recommend it to others.

The hospitallity was beyond. Simaõ did everything to make us feel at home during our stay. There was a bottle of wine and bottled water waiting for us upon arrival together with a :welcoming note on a blackboard. The room was huge with a very comfortable bed. .The room itself was decorated in a very boutique way with a remarkable touch to every detail. Simaõ and Edgar seem to have a thing for journey's as there were suitcases "everywhere".Loved the creativity. There was a desk if you by any chance wanted to work and some extra chairs if you didn't fancy hanging out in the bed. There was even a:walk-in closet with all the nessesetys needed including a window. The bathroom had a rainwater shower. Simaõ would change towels and sheets whenever you want . The decorations in this charming two-room B&B was "creative" artwork mainly made by Edgar. The breakfast was outstanding. Fresh fruit- different every day, cheese, ham, yougurt, granola, scrambled eggs, bread, jam, something sweet- differnt every day,,freshly squeezed orange juice, milk, real butter, coffe and tea. Just amazing. There's:also cornflakes and other cereal to choose from. While eating you listened to sweet old style lounge music. The area itself was lovely and close to everything. Great restaurants around the corner as well as in the port area. The Almada museum and garden was just around the corner as well as the lift, Elevador Panorâmico da Boca do Vento. .After taking the lift down to Tejo it is only a short stroll to the boat taking you to the city of Lx itself. Cristo Rei is just around the corner and staying in Almada will vring you closer to Portugal and local life.

Me and my family had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is very spacious, spotless, and well-maintained. It is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking, as well as a laundry area which was very convenient. All the bedrooms are large and comfortable, and having air conditioning throughout the entire house made our stay even better. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! The check-in process was easy, and the hosts were always very nice and communicative. The apartment is in a great location, just a 2-minute walk from the main street in Almada, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and pastry shops. The house was very clean, had all the amenities we needed and even had a small balcony where we could have coffee.

    We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our...

    We were officially visiting Lisbon, but chose Almada as our pied-a-terre due to its proximity and connectedness. We did buy a Lisboa pass which we understood would connect us from the Fertagus station on the Almada side to our place but it did not although the busses are run by the same company. That was the only unfortunate surprise we had. We explored Almada, Sintra and Lisboa during our three day stay and had a great time! This place comes highly recommended.

    I could not find fault with anything.

    I could not find fault with anything. Staff were friendly and very kind. Food was freshly prepared and good variation also very tasty. Rooms were cleaned to a high standard and all communal rooms the same high standard. Bathroom was spotless. In general we would recommend to anyone and will be staying there again next visit.

    The area around the hotel (Mercure Almada) is mostly residential with the court house down the block. It was very safe to walk around and there are plenty of places to eat along with quite a few stores/businesses. The metro is very easy to use and the bus stops in front of hotel. I was able to explore the area and go to Lisbon with ease.

    I think it is worth visiting Almada, I di not have enough time to see all I wanted. 1 days stay. It is of course quite different to North side Lisbon. You really have to be prepared to walk up hill and down dale.

    Almada is a very nice place to stay.

    Almada is a very nice place to stay. It is easy to get around Almada centre and the tourist places. To get to Lisbon is quite easy too. The ferry is so convenient, cheap and not far away from where I am staying. I really enjoyed Almada.

    Cozy apartment in Almada — a great spot for a peaceful stay near Lisbon. Everything is clean, neat, and tastefully decorated. The ferry and the waterfront are just a short walk away. Nice neighborhood with cafés and shops nearby. Sometimes the neighbors can be a bit noisy, but overall, the experience was very positive. A good choice for those who want to be close to the capital without the hustle and bustle.

    Casa Rene is lovely and so is Ylvi! It's perfectly placed for the restaurants and bars of Almada, and a very short walk to the ferry to Cais do Sodre. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. You have an outdoor space with seating and the pool area is great, sitting amongst the citrus trees. Even the other guests were lovely!
