The house had everything we could possibly need. The host even left us a basket with local products, which was a great treat. The village is quite quiet (even though it was grape harvest time) and the church bell didn't bother us.

Pedro made us feel welcome before we even arrived with his outstanding, and oh so helpful, driving directions and communication. The sparkling clean and spacious villa is situated on beautiful grounds overlooking the Duoro Valley. The daily breakfast was a treat that we looked forward to everyday. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

    The area is super calm, from the place we stayed it takes about 20 minutes to get to "civilization" e.g. supermarket and restaurants! Therefore it is a great spot to unwind and relax, recharge batteries and read a book while soaking in views of the Douro
