Good location. Far away from any noise, it is in the nature, but close enough to see lots of interesting spots and areas in the island. You need a rented car to build up your many-day program here. The staff is outstanding, nice, and very supportive, smiling whole day, and all of them make the impression of enjoying their jobs. Massage (that they call a therapy) is a real therapy. Seeing sunsets from the private pool of our terrace was an unforgettable joy and experience. Had three days of challenging, but truly brain-washing and relaxing hiking in the subtropical nature, and lots of other funs the island offers.

I stayed in the Country Suite for 1 night, the room is beautifully decorated and had a helpful book about São Miguel Island with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit whilst on the Island. I also liked the bath salts and the reduction in plastic for the toiletries. The villa and area is peaceful and is only about a 10 minute drive from Sete Cidades, Mosteiros and Feteiras.

Nice house, excellent communication, nice area. Close to Cetes Cidades and Ponta Delgades. And Very close to Feraria, the warm natural pool in the sea! We liked it a lot! Very friendly owner, we had a very good time at the house and at Sao Miguel, calm neighbourhood but nearby to the hotspots, we had a very good sleep.

We had the best stay at villa Anna Splendid. It exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, Alexey and Anna made us feel completely at home. They were warm, friendly, and always available if we needed anything — thanks to them, we never went without a single thing. The villa is gorgeous inside and out. We saw the best sunsets of our lives from there. The facilities were great: the infinity pool was lovely, the kitchen had everything we needed (and more), and the private sauna was such a treat. It was a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Perfect place to unwind.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

Ginetes is a small town with limited resources for visitors,...

Ginetes is a small town with limited resources for visitors, other than a market maybe, and a church. It isn't particularly attractive and requires a car to get to from the hotel. This is a peaceful boutique hotel in a beautiful and remote setting. However, it is right off the main road traveling to the southwest of the island. It was a very easy drive, around 20-25 minutes, from the airport and with very little traffic, as it is going away from Punta Delgada. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the west coast and also Sete Cidades. There is no place to eat close to the hotel, but its dining room has exceptional food. Although the ocean is within view of the hotel, you can not walk to it. In fact, I did not find any good walking travels near the hotel.
