It was enough time for us to enjoy the beach, wander the boardwalk, do some window shopping, enjoy the beach, and take in the amazing views from the high cliffs overlooking the town. The old town of Nazaré, located at the top of the hill (Sitio), is beautiful and worth seeing, offering a stunning view of the town. Both the main beach and the north beach in Nazaré are beautiful. We loved Nazare.
We loved Nazare. We parked at the free parking near Farol Nazare Pontao Norte and strolled along the Praia de Nazare to the funicular. We saw all the lovely sites and views on the Sitio. It was spectacular.Guest review bybrianac1958United States - 10.0

Really well located as a base to visit other parts of Portugal within an hour or two of driving if you have your own car. Lovely restaurants great views and a funicular to get up the steep hill to look over Nazare. I loved the town.
I loved the town. Lots of international people, kind locals, gorgeous views and hike to the lighthouse. The ascensor was fun. Ate at a neat Italian restaurant, Bontà Bistro Italiano , very fresh and the owner was lovely. We stayed at By the sea. At one point the manager delivered a rose to me for National Day of Women. A really beautiful seaside town with a very local feel. We avoided peak season and the crowds so we could just enjoy the town without it being noisy and crowded. The weather was nice and comfortable and the views from the headland are amazing. So picturesque. Lots of nice restaurants and shops. Highly recommend a stay here.Guest review byHelenAustralia

Very clean and cared for place. Staff were helpful and friendly, we even enjoyed a complimentary breakfast at the nearby cafe which was very nice. Very comfy bed and cute shared kitchen/lounge area was a bonus. Wish we could stay longer. Nazare is a most beautiful place. We booked the free jacuzzi on arrival and watched the sunset from rooftop.
