    Walking through the quiet streets of a rural town was a great experience. Don't expect any nightlife, good restaurants, or a well-stocked grocery store. A privately owned vehicle is essential. We would go back to Torrao if the opportunity arose.

    The location is spectacular, on the edge of the backwaters of the Vale do Gaio dam. No sounds except those of nature. The services are great, and the warmth of the place is real. The food i the restaurant is delicious and has a lot of offering. The host of the hotel is the epitome of graciousness, which is embodied in all the team. Well done!!

    The accommodation is very cozy. Beautiful situated in Torrao, definitely a recommendation when passing by. Susy and Jorge are very welcoming, lovely people and make you feel immediately at home. The place itself has everything which you need. The view from the terrace is amazing and perfect to have breakfast in the sun! Big big recommendation!!

    The hosts Susy and Jorge are phenomenally welcoming. The house is perfect and the garden is a delight. Torrão is a really welcoming town with very friendly people. For a small town it has 5 restaurants and at least 10 other bars and cafes. There are some great walks from the house.
