A wonderful family run hotel in a gorgeous area. The father and son owners were very helpful, and we loved their recommendations for a hike (the Pont Misarela) and dinner (Hostel do Geres). They stoked a fire in the communal area in the evening, and it was a very comfortable place to have a drink and relax. We would love to return!

Staying at this amazing place felt like living in the heart of a jungle. The atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The air was pristine—clean and fresh—making every breath feel rejuvenating. Surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery, the setting was nothing short of picturesque. Adding to the charm were the orange trees scattered around, which added a touch of vibrancy and freshness to the surroundings. Convenience was also a highlight of this location, with a cozy coffee shop nearby that became a favorite spot to unwind. The neighborhood was warm and welcoming, with helpful neighbors who were always ready to lend a hand if needed. A special mention must go to the host, Mr. Pedro. His attentiveness and dedication truly set this experience apart. He was always available whenever we reached out, responding promptly to any questions or requests. His communication was smooth and easy, as he speaks English fluently, which made the entire process hassle-free. His genuine care and effort to ensure everything went perfectly made this stay all the more enjoyable. Overall, this was a five-star experience, thanks to the serene environment, wonderful neighbors, and an exceptional host. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway!

    Staff friendly and helpful, the hotel facilities were excellent, breakfast wonderful. I had difficulty finding Venda Nova because I did not have the coordinates and there are about 14 villages of that name. Eventually got there very late and much relieved that the owners mother was keeping watch for us to show us to our rooms.

    Interesting hotel set up with individual rooms all overlooking a small area of water with a balcony. Parking is secure and close to the rooms. The optional dinner was fair. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a nice loop of roads to ride but not much else in the area.

    Beautiful hotel, comfortable and clean. Room much bigger than we expected, big kitchen, bathroom and balcony area. Pool was Huge and Amazing. We did some fishing at the lake, 5min walk from the hotel. Very peaceful, surrounded by nature.
