We’re so happy we chose Akagera Ihema Lodges for our stay near the park. The view over the lake is simply unbeatable, and the setup of the cottage—with its walk-in shower and peaceful surroundings—made it the perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the amazing staff, who took such great care of us. They prepared breakfast boxes early in the morning for our game drives and served delicious meals each evening. Their kindness and attention to detail really made our stay special. Although we spent three nights here, we feel like we barely scratched the surface of how beautiful and peaceful this place is. We’d love to come back and enjoy it even more.

On my recent trip to Kigali, I had the pleasure of visiting Akagera National Park, thanks to the enthusiastic recommendation of a friend. To fully immerse ourselves in the beauty of the park, we decided to stay at Akagera Park Inn, a choice that turned out to be a highlight of our adventure. Akagera Park Inn impressed us with its charming ambiance and exceptional service. The lodge is beautifully designed, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes guests feel at home. The staff at Akagera Park Inn deserves special mention; their professionalism and attention to detail ensured that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with the utmost care and hospitality. One of the standout features of our stay was the culinary experience. The lodge offers delicious food that is not only flavorful but also beautifully presented. Each meal was a delight, showcasing a variety of local and international dishes that catered to diverse tastes. The dining experience at Akagera Park Inn is truly something to relish. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, providing a serene retreat after a day of exploration in the park. The beds were large and comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep. The room service was impeccable, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Moreover, the lodge's strategic location within Akagera National Park offered stunning views that were a feast for the eyes. The breathtaking vistas from the lodge are a testament to the natural beauty of Akagera National Park. Waking up to such picturesque scenery was a treat, and it added an extra layer of magic to our visit. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding after a day of adventure, the scenic views provided the perfect backdrop for our stay. In conclusion, Akagera Park Inn is a remarkable lodge that excels in offering a luxurious and comfortable experience.

Honestly, this is the best guest house in Rwanda. The visit there was even more exciting that national park itself, really...! I wish i had more time to spend there not on transit to the park but for relaxation. The place is good also for distant working as the room has a working desk. Outside: Good terrace with green environment, see the pictures how they are decorated with flowers and greenery. Small well maintained garden. The rooms: Rooms are with nice interior, good design. Bathroom with hot water. Cleen. I had no problems with mosquitoes or other insects at all. Mattress are hard, which i like. My room was backside, so no noise at all. Staff: Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect communication before my visit, they help me to plan and organise any details of my visit to the park. The staff really care about their clients and are fully helpful and reliable.

Really warm welcome, very friendly hosts. Dinner was delicious, very good food. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very relaxing. Beds are hard but i love a hard mattress so that worked out perfectly

Lovely welcome and Patrick looked after us brilliantly. He prepared a meal that was the best we had in the 2 weeks we spent in Rwanda.

Location and calming in the communities that we have such open space for the work of my duties

I had a good stay! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and attentive, The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again!
