Our stay at this hotel was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We felt so relaxed and at home. The place has everything you need and is located in a quiet location but still close to the center and beach. Breakfast was amazing plus the lunch and dinner options are very tasteful. The rooms are big and modern and very clean!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by very friendly & smiling staff members. Before checking in, we were taken to a seperate room and given these deliciously cold mango drinks accompanied with cold towels shaped like flowers. When our room was ready, we were given a guide around the hotel and in the end our room. Before going to our room we got to choose for free a small scented perfume to spray on our pillows which I found very nice of them. When we got to our room, the bed had a "Happy birthday" written on it with cut bannana leaves. My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by that! In the evening they rang on our door and brought a chocolate cake! I haven't warned or told the staff anything so this was genuinely very sweet & nice of them to do! I will forever cherish this kind gesture! My partner and I will definitely come back to this hotel in the future! We loved it! Our room had everything and a very nice mountain view too. We had many towels, a very nice hair dryier which worked like a dyson, spare toothbrushes, comb, toiletries, a mosquito repellent you can put in the outlet, many water bottles, flip flops, bath robes, beach towels, uv umbrella?, beach bag and so on. We were welcomed with some complimentary snack, fruits & drinks in the mini fridge. Each evening in our stay we were given complimentary french macaroons.

We felt super comfortable in the hotel. The owners were always available for questions and a nice chat. We could rent a bike, got explicit directions and recommendatios and they even helped made another booking for me alone at a later date possible although it was nearly booked-out. Breakfast was great, even home-made yoghurt and lots of fruits. It was very quiet at night. The beach is awesome with lots of shade. There are nice and cheap restaurants just across the street and also shops, a laudromat, etc.

We highly recommend Aonang lodge. It is in a very quiet and tranquil location, with a great view looking across to the mountains. The hosts are very kind and helpful, the pool is great, beds are exceptionally comfortable, and scooter hire was easy from the owners. We extended our stay a few times.

We enjoyed our stay with our 2 kids very much. The host and all staff were just lovely and so welcoming. Helped with any advice and transfer to get us where we wanted. Maybe for someone it seems further from the sea, but it is not, just couple of minutes away by transfer, which our host provided to us. Very nice and clean rooms, amazing pool. The area is quiet with lovely views to nature. Very tasty breakfast. If we come again to this area, it will be for sure this property😊 Thank you Boutique Hotel Team!

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the...

    If you want the beach and trips from the beach to the islands do not recommend you go this time of the year. As three single travellers there were very few bars, lots of restaurants that sold alcohol but no bars you could sit at and have a chat only found four and three of those were a good 30min walk from the centre. Ao Nang seems to have changed a lot over the years and has lost a lot of it's character as it is now catering more for families, which is not a all bad if that is what you are looking for but comparing it with Hua Hin, or Koh Samui, it just doesn't.

    All restaurants and activities were near by or a short ride with a scooter. KoDam restaurant serves great Thai dishes and the same restaurant by the sea has a great view with the same prices as the one in Ao Nang.

    The strip of sand is overlooked by a busy road and shops. Very little shelter from the sun and on-shore winds whip up waves and churn the water to a very unappealing colour. Plenty of bars and places to eat locally - but very few truly "Thai" owned/run. LOTS of Indian restaurants! Ao Nang beach is a beach from which you depart to visit much nicer places!!

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to...

    There were many sightseeing opportunities I was unable to access due to my Muay Thai training event. If I return, I will pursue these options. The beach was near countless stores and restaurants. There are plenty of people to meet and things to do. I would revisit if given a second chance.

    It's a perfect outing for holidays, honeymoon or for what ever reasons. Can choose from high end hotels, or budget one. People around are friendly and helpful. Foods hunting are heaven, cheap seafood at night market any restaurants. Don't miss jumpa to island executions that you won't regards it

    The actual beach was not great for swimming.

    The actual beach was not great for swimming. At high tide there was very little sand to walk on and the beach was not flat. Water was not very clear, possibly due to grey skies or longboat activity. So Nang has many hotels and resorts either great pools as an alternative. Ao Nang is a great place to visit the Islands, Emerald Lake, hot springs or go kayaking in the mangroves. It is easy to get tuk tuks, taxis and grab cars and bikes all along the beachfront. There was a great selection of Thai, Italian, Indian and Mexican restaurants and lots of bars with extended happy hours. Make sure you have lots of mozzie spray, especially if you go over to Railay beach and walk over to Diamond Cave. We’d recommend paying for a hotel with buffet breakfast if travelling with teenagers as the food is great and tends to set you up an early dinner time. If you have children I’d recommend Ananta Burin hotel as it has several pools, one with a water slide and pool bar so the young ones and adults are easily entertained.

    it was clean and nicely designed hotel. it is not beach front and the closest beach was 5-10 mins walking distance. however the beach was not good at all, meaning it was a bit dirty (some parts were smelling very bad) and right next to a road (we stayed there in April. so maybe it is nicer in other months). hotel has a nice jungle concept. we liked that it was not beach front but a bit far away from it because we could avoid the bad smell from the sea. the hotel itself was clean and nice, feeling like right in the nature. good option in Krabi.

    If you are planning to visit Krabi then you must consider Panan Krabi for stay, it's just awesome. They have the most wonderful staff. We booked a private pool villa stay. Pool was excellent, no chlorine smells and water PH is good for my skin. Staff were so friendly. Good breakfast many variety of food we can choose. Welcome drink and dessert so nice and sweet. Sunset view on roof top is awesome. Location is great, 5 minute walk to beach. Hope to come again next time...:) 10 star.

    This place is just WOW ! A must stay in Krabi. Fabulous private feeling in small villas with direct pool access. Staff is amazing very helpful , The hotel has a free shuttle to the beach 5 times a day , The walk is approx 20 min by main road passing all shops and restaurants. We have stayed on our 13th anniversary and staff did fantastic job in decorating the bed with champagne in the room. Very recommended stay. Clean to perfection cant fault anything.

    Loved the rooms and the swimming area to relax. The rooms are spacious and clean and so is the washroom. They give ample bottles of drinking water without charging which is really great. Their hospitality is indeed great as they helped us with the booking in the mini van to drop us to krabi airport. Plus, it's located in the much hyped area of Ao Nang Beach. There are beaches on both sides of the hotel. Highly recommend it.

    We loved Krabi! Location of hotel was good, in busy road near ample restaurants, 711, beach activities etc and breakfast was good. Hotel has a van going down to the beach about 3x a day but with set times we often missed. Kids enjoyed the pool.
