Most importantly, the beach was not underwater like the beach at Hua Hin was, due to tides. The beach is pretty clean and there are plenty of reasonably priced vendors to hire a lounge chair from - and they don't harass you when you're walking past. Cha Am has very little services and activities so if you like a place to relax, it is great. The livelu Hua Hin is only 15-20 minutes drive away and easy to access with shuttles or taxis (cheap). It was a nice short getaway. Bring an umbrella as it rained most days and was humid. There was a nice little bakery restaurant called loves bread that was good on the road up to the highway that goes through town. The condo has everything you need for a short or long stay. The condo is small but the bedroom is separate from the living area so perfect for a couple . The complex has great pools and a gym and the garden is well kept so very relaxing. There is a 7/11 just outside and it’s a nice walk along beach road to central Cha Am beach.
