An Amazing Stay in La Marsa – Highly Recommended! I had the pleasure of staying at The 'Le Jasmin Appartement' - La Marsa during my trip to Tunisia, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment is located about a 20-minute walk from the beautiful La Marsa Beach, where I spent most of my free time relaxing and enjoying the sea. The neighborhood is very calm, clean, and safe — I had no issues coming and going, even late at night, which really added to my peace of mind. There are small shops just around the corner for your daily essentials like water and snacks. For larger grocery needs, Monoprix is about a 15-minute walk and is the closest major supermarket, though Carrefour Express is also accessible. As for the apartment itself — it’s spotless, modern, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The shower was excellent, the toilet is very modern, and having a fridge, washing machine, ironing board, and iron made the stay feel very comfortable and convenient. The kitchen is fully equipped too, though I personally didn’t use it since I enjoyed eating out at the nearby restaurants. But what truly made this stay special was the host — Zied. He was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and generous. His kindness and hospitality stood out far beyond what I expected. I was even lucky to be there during Eid Al-Adha, and Zied and his wonderful family shared traditional Tunisian dishes like Slata Mechouia and Couscous with me — a gesture I will never forget. Thank you, Zied, for your warm hospitality. Gaining you as a friend was truly the highlight of my trip to Tunisia. I hope to see you again soon. Everything was absolutely perfect — it exceeded all my expectations! The staff truly make you feel at home, and the atmosphere genuinely feels warm and welcoming. The view is breathtaking, and the location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, within walking distance of all the charming attractions. It’s also conveniently close to the airport and the Medina, just about 25 minutes away by Indrive, which works perfectly in Tunis and was recommended by the staff. A huge thank you to the entire team — Woujoud, Yasmeen, Rania, Ghofran, Nora, and Najat — for their kindness and hospitality. A very special thanks to Mariem, who was exceptionally helpful, responsive, and radiated such positive energy throughout the place. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I visit Tunis!
