If you are a history fan and like monuments or beaches, this will be your favorite destination. BUT There are some unmentioned rules: 1. Bargaining (the prices are higher than they should be, so do not forget to bargain) 2. NEVER buy anything from the stalls outside of monuments. They usually sell tooooo expensive, even if you bargain to a quarter of the price, it is still expensive. I had a very bad experience, unfortunately. 3. Be careful with your pockets and be aware of using your phone in the streets. 4. The prices in the cartage land are very good for buying handicrafts. 5. Tunis is a pleasant city to visit, among others due to its friendly inhabitants. The Bardo Museum is a must-see whereas places such as Cathago and the other coastal areas of the city are worth visiting. The Medina was a bit run down, yet it was enchanting and it felt safe. They'll happily overcharge you for services and almost demand their tips as opposed to deserving them. left one of suitcases in the cab that dropped to the hotel...he didnt return it and i stupidly didnt take the cab number on top of the vehicle be sure to do that so you can trace these rascals. food isnt great...its all badly made commercial mix of american and french type mainly junk food again this is in the city... wasnt impressed.Guest review byMarwanUnited Kingdom - 10.0
