The hotel staff is amazing! Justin gave me many recommendations on my travels, not just in Tanga, but all over Tanzania. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler like myself. I enjoyed the hot shower too!! The location is very walkable and safe. I walked to nearby restaurants at night with no worries. I really enjoyed my stay at Phyllen Hotel...

Excellent value for money twin room chalet, spotless and well equipped with cooking facilities en suite. Hostess Ms Margaret was extremely welcoming and helpful. Situation quiet but a little hard to find 😀 Only 3000/- in a bajaji to town Highly recommended Roger and Arthur

Beautifull villa, Claes and his wife has really made this a paradise. All rooms are decorated with so much care, the staf cooks heavenly ( the home baked Bread was soooo good). Cleas is so friendly swedish, we went Cayaking the mangroves, and Cleas which was really nice . The small village is a fisher village had a nice ruim of a mosque . Highly recommend is you want to be away from the crowds.
