The town appears to be very depress.
The town appears to be very depress. Lots of closed businesses. We would not recommend the Hotel Casino, but the IGA grocery store was well stocked and the employees were friendly. The tire store was helpful and accommodating. There are a couple different souvenir/gift shops. We went to the one that wasn't the biggest or smallest. Perfect location for us. Clean and comfortable. We had our own private bathroom, but it is not in the cabin. It is located about 100 feet away in a separate building. Not a problem for me and my husband, but it might be for those who want easier access to the toilet in the middle of the night. It's a functional hotel that you can use if you're staying on the east side of glacier national park and couldn't find anything closer to the entrances.
