I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Riesling Retreat. The room is beautifully furnished and had everything a person could ask for. It was emaculate. Bed was very comfortable. On a particularly rainy day, I spent some time relaxing and reading in the wonderful leather recliner. I really enjoyed the chickens, neighbor’s horse and cow. Such a retreat. Steve gave me some great recommendations on things to do: Jerome mining town and Old Town Cottonwood. Thank you, Steve and Nesa.

The room was very outdated old furniture then they accused me of a hole in the wall which we checked in and went to sleep and woke up and left they charged me 250$ and said they had pictures but wouldn’t send them to me! STAY AWAY they try to get every dollar they can and the area isn’t somewhere you want to stay

Cottonwood is a small community but beautiful to say the...

Cottonwood is a small community but beautiful to say the least. I loved my short stay and will be back again for another very soon. I only stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the Italian Restaurant right inside the hotel and it was very nice.

We traveled to Cottonwood to ride the Vally Verde train.

We traveled to Cottonwood to ride the Vally Verde train. Enjoyed some great meals at Bing’s Burgers and Crema Craft Kitchen. We visited the copper museum and explored the downtown shops. I would really recommend the area to anyone.

Went to Cottonwood for a gravel bike ride.

Went to Cottonwood for a gravel bike ride. Only looking to stay the night after the ride. Would plan in the future to stay a couple nights and plan additional rides and exploring. Seemed like a great area to check out and walk around the town a bit.

Great town with a lot of outdoor areas to explore.

Great town with a lot of outdoor areas to explore. I highly recommend Queen B for coffee and breakfast and Merkin Vineyards for dinner. Jerome is just up the mountain above Cottonwood and is a great town to explore with a lot of artists and history.

Everything ! We made a one night reservation on short notice. We arrived before "check-in" time and the person at desk was very helpful. There was a room available upstairs (as I requested) and it was lovely. We had a delightful complimentary breakfast in the morning. The hotel was dog friendly with good outside area for our pup to go. We will be back. Thank you.

Good location between Sedona and Cottonwood/Jerome so we could explore all the awesome national parks and historic towns over a few days. Great little kitchenette for making meals, and several bbqs to grill on. It was also really nice to have a swim in the pool on a hot day.

The hotel is beautiful, the staff's very hospitable and polite. Our first floor room was very spacious, clean and comfy. Shower had great water pressure. Some good choices for food nearby, including the breakfast place they partner with.

We wanted to see the Sedona area but the cost of accommodation in Sedona was out of reach. Finding a place in Cottonwood was more affordable. We appreciated the ease of access when we arrived and the well equipped kitchen.
