There are several antique stores/markets in the area as well as unique boutique shops that sell a wide variety of items. These include clothing, bath & body items, and hand-crafted items. Gloucester Courthouse also is home to several locally owned eating establishments. Among my favorites is Olivia's where you can enjoy a wonderful breakfast to begin your day. Olivia's also serves lunch and dinner featuring traditional Virginia dishes. It is popular among the locals, which is always a good indication of excellent food. Gloucester Courthouse is also home to an art co-op, Art on the Main, that features artwork by local artists. The co-op also offers art classes. Most importantly, the people of Gloucester are friendly and inviting providing genuine southern hospitality to visitors.
