I stayed in the bridal suite the weekend of my wedding, which took place in the event center of the hotel. The event staff did a great job to ensure that my ceremony and reception went as planned so I could enjoy my day without worry. The bridal suite, event center and the rooftop have great views of the surrounding waterfront. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay at the hotel.

Everything except the pool and hallways was nice. Pool is so small, you should make it bigger. The rugs on the hallways are dirty and old. you should replace them with clean and new ones. Other than these, hotel was awesome

Rhonda at the breakfast!! She was so kind and helpful. She made sure everything was ready and filled. she showed us how to work the pancake machine. then thanked us as we were leaving. I asked for her name an told her I would say she was the best part of our stay.

Our main reason for staying in Lorain was the location and...

Our main reason for staying in Lorain was the location and the lighthouse. We had a wedding to attend in Amherst, OH and Lorain is about 15-20 minutes away. I found the Lorain Lighthouse nearby our hotel, so I booked a tour, and it was amazing!! I also enjoyed the beaches nearby and restaurants. I shopped in the nearby plaza and enjoyed a concert at the amphitheater at Rock on the River. The city is quiet and beautiful near Lake Erie. I will be back for another visit in the near future.

Lots of nice places to eat, and several different boat tours although we did not have time to do one; would love to return and do a concert at Black River marina area; if visiting, be sure to visit Lakeside Landing to walk and take pics of lighthouses.

We chose to book this VRBO because we prefer the unique character of a home and neighborhood to most hotels. This property was perfect in that way! We did not actually hang out in Lorain, but enjoyed a brief visit to Lakeview Park, which is beautiful. It's easy navigating Lorain. Would love to explore down town and historic features next time. This property is also relatively close to Oberlin if that is where you really want to spend time during your visit.

The marina and lighthouse were unexpected views that we enjoyed. We had dinner as the sunset over Lake Erie out on a deck at "Erie's Steak & Seafood" ~ good food and great outdoor view!
