After reading some other reviews I decided to add some things to mine. Regarding the train noise - Mojave is a small town, every motel/hotel is along the same street which happens to be across from the train tracks. Trains carry a multitude of products and keep many trucks off our highways. We went sightseeing at Red Rock Canyon State Park, it was amazing. Rockhounding was also a hit. Our room was clean and supplied with soap, shampoo, and coffee supplies. We had plenty hot water and pressure.Guest review byTheresaUnited States - 10.0

The couple that manage the motel are very professional and efficient. They remembered us from previous stays as if we were part of their family. Expect a small comfortable room with microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot. Do not assume this is a fancy place. Just steps from your car, move in, fix a microwaveable entree, and relax. Lots of cable channels. Wake up, get your own breakfast from your own supplies, leave before 11. Easy if you are prepared. Good bed, shower.
