Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days. Restaurants and spas here are cheaper than HoChi Minh and Hoi An. The Imperial city and tombs are lovely. The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to visit some of the tombs and a pagoda. Some of this can also be visited by boat. The main attraction is the Imperial City. The river is nice. Plenty of activity on the opposite side of the river from the Imperial City. History. Very good food and variety of great places to eat. There were multiple local eateries with English menues and helpful staff, real and cheaper food. Good place to experience Vietnamese meals. A few high class restaurants nearby as well. Lovely walk along river at night with the lights.
