The hop on hop off bus is a good way to get out of town to visit some of the tombs and a pagoda. Some of this can also be visited by boat. The main attraction is the Imperial City. The river is nice. Plenty of activity on the opposite side of the river from the Imperial City. History. Very good food and variety of great places to eat. There were multiple local eateries with English menues and helpful staff, real and cheaper food. Good place to experience Vietnamese meals. A few high class restaurants nearby as well. Lovely walk along river at night with the lights. Enormous pool with pool bar and poolside dining. Staff were very attentive throughout the resort, especially Thanh from guest relations. Fantastic food at the restaurant. Breakfast was great with a good variety. Cocktails and canapes each afternoon were a lovely treat. Just a five minute taxi ride into Hue (we used Grab which is readily available).
