It was really clean. Beds were super comfy and warm especially in the -5 temperatures! The restaurant on the premises was amazing, and served delicious food! Staff were all round absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful rooms, lovely veranda, the swimming pool was a plus, the views, the food, friendly staff. Everything was really lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at Big Sky was fantastic. Nikhita was exceptionally helpful and greeted us on arrival with cold towels which were great after a long drive. She took us on a tour of the facilities which are stunning and really makes the place a little oasis, with big lounge rooms, great dining area, a massive pond great swimming pool out the front. The food was fantastic with lamb on offer for dinner and a great breakfast in the next morning. The rooms are super comfy and the setting overall is relaxing and really pleasant. Would highly recommend this and even though we only stayed a night we wanted to stay longer and wish we could have

The rooms were comfortable and had everything one needed to make an overnight stay enjoyable.The food was excellent, generous portions, as well as being fresh and delicious.As it is on a farm, there is only peace and quiet which is perfect after travelling many hours.The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to make their guest feel at home.

Accommodation comprises of historic houses in a quiet cul De sac a short walk from half a dozen restaurants (try Bordeaux for authentic Karoo cuisine). Room sizes were generous, proper ground coffee laid on, WiFi was good, there was a lovely courtyard area as well. Would absolutely recommend.

The streets are kept clean.

The streets are kept clean. It is easy to find your way around town. We ate at Bordeaux - the food was delicious, and the service was food. The people in town were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We visited the Chargo Farm Stall and were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality of goods on sale. Colesberg is definitely a must visit when travelling from Gauteng to the Cape

After driving for 10 Hours+ you realy need a nice shower and a nice bed. Me and my wife was pleasantly surprised with the showers and bed that was provided. 7 on Grey is definitely on of our favourite stay over venues in future. Thanks 7 on Grey.

Colesberg radiate that small, rural town honesty and hospitality. One should not expect a typical lifestyle Villa environment, but its historical feel and ambience make up for it. We had dinner at Inni Kraal and what a wonderful experience!

How did you manage to turn Colesberg around ?

How did you manage to turn Colesberg around ? Last year we were so dissapointed. Streets were full of litter, street lights out and drunk people everwhere. This year we were so impressed. Streets are clean and clearly lit up, no loitering. Murray House is a must for a traveller wanting to stay over and nothing can beat eating at The Plattelander. WELL DONE Colesberg!

Since the experience at Feather Bed was so bad, we serged for another guesthouse and find a decent place that met our needs. I paid Feather Bed in full and since we never stayed over, i want my money back asap.

Friendly Owners and place was nice clean, tidy and very comfortable. We were driving from Cape Town and stopped over for the night on route to Jhb. Bedding was clean and fresh. Would definitely recommend 👌
