A real welcome from two lovely people who have made their lives here and have a genuine interest in their guests. Super friendly and inviting you to get a glimpse into the life they've created for themselves and all that goes with it. We were treated to a delicious meal with our hosts and their other guests and free flowing conversation about how this oasis came to be. Off the beaten track and an unexpected joy. I can only send them my very best wishes for the future and will remember our brief time there as very special. So glad we stopped off here on our way to the unmissable Cango Caves.

The best place we stayed in our 3 weeks joliday. No luxe but everything was perfect. Such a nice place and Waldo and his staff were very nice. We had a good breakfast at the restaurant. Brethtaking view, peacefull and animals on the farm. Thank you for everything. We will definitly come back.

Amazing time at the Lodge. Not only was the food (even catered for vegan) fantastic, but the ability to hike and mountain bike around this huge reserve gave us real freedom to experience the land and wildlife. Thank you Willem for your hospitality.

If you can believe it, the place is actually more beautiful than the photos. It was privilege to be able to stay there. The owners made a dinner reservation for us as town was full due to a festival. so kind. I cannot recommend this place more. The value is amazing. James the dog is the show stopper. Lots of extras, not only the chocolate on the bed. Very neat and clean facilities. Very quite area without any traffic sounds. Nice swimming pool! I will return whenever needed. I would recommend it to anyone that want to feel special during their stay
