The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

What a place to stay at.... The house itself is beautiful and modern, but fitting in its environment. You can definitely tell Jerome and Vera have a history in hospitality, as they have thought of everything. The lovely photos don’t even do it justice. A lot of care has gone into these villas and gardens… it’s a really magical place. You feel surrounded my nature and the villa’s are beautifully done. Really comfortable, big beds and lovely bathrooms. The fans kept us cool at night even though the temp was high. Some reviews mention a problem with ants but we kept all food in the fridge and didn’t have a problem. Make sure you enter ‘Finca Chilanga’ into Waze/Google Maps in addition to the address provided on Booking . com - we just copied and pasted the address on our booking and ended up adventuring up a gnarly off road track that our brilliant 4wd only just about managed. Turned out we’d driven straight past it! Ooops. We only stayed for our final night in Costa Rica but could have definitely stayed longer. The pool was beautiful and refreshing too. And the hosts very friendly and helpful! Don’t hesitate to book!
