The decor was charming, it was a beautiful log cabin styled home. I love that there was always mood lighting like candles around the place. The hosts were so kind and went above and beyond in every way possible. The location, while it was a while from Rovaniemi, it offered peace and serenity AND you can see the northern lights right there from the property instead of paying for an excursion. We recommend booking a rental car so you have total independence. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts kindly let us access coffee/tea throughout the day. The sauna was fantastic also! Definitely add this to your stay :)

My husband and I had an amazing stay. Really cosy and quiet. We got to see the northern light from the cabin! No light pollution, great view of the skies! It seems remote but also in 10-15 mins drive from everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend to change- maybe an option to purchase a welcome package with some provisions. We arrived late at night so no chance to go to the shops

Very well equipped - even has a dryer in the entrance to hang wet clothes and shoes after being in the snow. Comfortable with 2 bedrooms and an additional sleeping area. Idyllic, elegant cottage!

    Highly recommend this accommodation. Very quiet and private, comfortable furniture and great sauna with an option to go ice swimming or swimming in the lake. Very friendly home owner! In winter, the fireplace creates an amazingly cozy atmosphere, which creates a perfect experience while staying there. Beautiful nature all around the cottage. We will gladly stay there again, if we are in the area.

    The location was absolutely stunning and having the lake to your doorstep allows for midnight walks and northern light hunting every day! The cabin was cosy and had all the amenities you would need. There is no WiFi and it helps immerse yourself in nature and have an absolutely relaxing experience off grid! We didn't try the sauna but it looked nice and cozy from the outside. The self check-in was a bonus, especially if you arrive late! Definitely would recommend staying here!

    Everything was fantastic, David is a fantastic host, very helpful and kind! The location is amazing, not far from Rovaniemi and only 30mins walking from the Santa's Village. The cottage is cozy and clean. The fireplace and the sauna are the cherry on top of everything

    A cozy cabin in lovely surroundings, it made for an idyllic winter get away. It was amazing to get the opportunity to plunge into the frozen lake after the sauna. Having access to snow shoes and fishing gear made the winter experience all the more enjoyable.
