    Warm and welcoming cottage. Very well equipped, can't think of anything they didn't have that we needed. Beds lovely and comfortable. Roomy place but cosy. Nice seated area outside overlooking the fields. Was a bit too wet and cold on our stay but would have been lovely on a sunny evening.

    Perfect for a quiet getaway, a little off the beaten track but beautifully situated amongst rolling countryside with stunning views. The traditional farmhouse has everything you need, room is well appointed and very comfortable and your host is charming and helpful. You'll also receive a warm welcome from Larry 😀

    Angela was a very hospitalbe, welcoming and helpful host. She gave us great tips for places to visit and things to do. Her cooked breakfast was delicious, and there was additionally a great variation of cereals, yoghurts, and fruit. The room and bathroom were cosy and clean, and we instantly felt at home. Heathergate Cottage was easily reachable by car and is located in a calm, relaxing region close to the beautiful Dartmoor.

    Perfect little cosy cottage/ barn. Just right for hiding from the world and gloomy weather but also in a great location for walking and day trips out to various places. The Castle Inn pub down the road was fantastic. Dog friendly and does a great steak. Lydford Gorge is stunning.

    Beautiful cottage/barn - cosy, clean with lovely outdoor space - very well equipped and in a perfect location for walks, pub etc. wish I could have stayed longer, my dog loved it too!

    Property was a quaint cottage. Landlady upgraded our room because she had a cancellation. A very kind gesture. The room was clean and comfortable and the en-suite was huge. Breakfast was excellent and the landlady accommodated my grandsons need with his preferred breakfast. All in all a lovely nights stay in the countryside.
