It’s so peaceful and calming, right on the lake. Micheal the owner checked on us now and then as we were 5 females aged 16-65 on our own we really appreciated that !Lovely kind man! It was large, clean and really well equiped. We were met by Hazel , she was so sweet and had the cottage heated and welcoming, even a nice welcome cake.

I loved the scenery and location of the property. Plus Miranda is an incredible host, who really cares about her guests comfort. The house was clean, cozy and well located for our work at the festival in Lough Key Forest Park. There's a large Centra a few minutes away and a petrol station round the corner. Elizabeth left us milk, scones, jam, bread, tea and biscuits as she suspected correctly we wouldn't have a chance to get to the shop due to our late arrival - a lovely and thoughtful gesture.The kitchen is great and entirely suitable for cooking your own meals and the house has three bathrooms Communications between us before arrival were clear and fast, and the easy to use lock box made getting the key an effortless process. A lovely house and a thoughtful hostess. What more could you ask for?
