we had a wonderful stay here! The place was very clean and well-maintained, offering great value for the money. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a lovely selection of fresh fruits. Nethsara cottage is absolutely gorgeous - beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and in a rural, quiet spot in the hills above Ella. Delicious breakfasts are served on the balcony that has amazing views of the valley and the Mahamevnawa Monastery in the distance. Madusha is a lovely host, organising tuktuks on our request. We were so sad to leave and couldn’t recommend it more!

The host was the nicest person you can meet! Always with a smile, super humble and helpful. Goes well above and beyond! Cottage has everything and super clean! Really super clean! Very nice small entrance and complete peace for your stay! Home made breakfast by his wife was sooo amazing too! He really made us feel liek home eventough we stayed only a day. Also he was super flexible with checkin, we arrived early - No problem and no extra charge! Nice view as well! Not to the Ella side but still amazing view! 😊

Had the best time in Sri Lanka here! The host family are so friendly and kind, doing everything they can so that we are happy. Met the entire family, including the dog! Nice room with terrace, where we had great breakfast and perhaps the best dinner in Sri Lanka! The owner arranged scooter, tuktuk whenever we needed and gave great instructions and recommendations for hikes etc. Great memory in Sri Lanka!
