Stayed in a clean, spacious ensuite pod equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle and washing up area. There was a drying stand as well. Outside chairs and a table. Swimming pool was lovely and had a fish and turtle pond next to it. Good breakfast and the evening meals were great, cooked by a private chef. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Very peaceful surrounded by trees, the waterfall and working farm. Erikson, the owner/ manager, was very responsive and provided information on things to do/ see. Highly recommend staying here but suggest need a high wheel base vehicle due to roads in the area.

Welfare Agroturismo was part of the São Tomé round trip I have made with my girlfriend. The hotel is small (5 rooms only) and quite remote, but surrounded by beautiful nature. It has a very beautiful garden full of flowers, vanilla, fruits… and there are several options for tours to explore the center of the island (visit of Monte Cafe and Jardim Botanico de Bom Sucesso; hike to Lagoa Amelia; or you just start a hike along the old paths directly from the agroturismo). The hosts are so lovely and great cooks. Especially the dinners were really great and diverse. I would definitely come back again!

The property was a perfect fit for our family of 7! The rooms were spacious the lounging and dining area was superb. The direct view into the ocean made sunrises and sunsets truly special. The host was always available to assist and having someone cook breakfast was an absolute privilege - thanks Florinda! (Having a car rental is a must.)

We loved absolutely everything there. It is on a perfect spot, in a lovely village close to an amazing surf spot. Spacious and very well equipped. From the first day we felt home. The owners were the most helpful people we could hope to encounter when we were faced by a sudden change of flights and had to reschedule a lot of our stay. They picked us up at the airport, took us to their beautiful house and back to the city, and even helped us to hire a good car for the second part of the trip. The Roça itself has carefully renovated bungalows and well maintained grounds. The bed was comfy and the breakfast tasty. It's calm and quiet, which you can say for most of the island.

Located in Trindade, Firma Efraim provides a garden and bar. At the farm stay, all rooms are fitted with a patio. Each room has a flat-screen TV, and some units at Firma Efraim have a sea view.

Charming little guesthouse in the village of monte café. Village life continues outside and the old coffee plantation structures are still clearly visible. If you are lucky and the clouds clear you have a really nice view on Sao Tomé and the sea. Do not forget to rake a coffee. The owner is really helpful to accommodate all your plans.
