For the price, I couldn't ask for a better location! I got there kinda late and they made sure I knew exactly how to get there and where to get the key. They had an informational binder filled with everything you need to know about where you were staying along with everything around you.

    The location is very quiet in beautiful surroundings on the Little Manatee River. It is close to Simmons Park and the Bahia Beach Preserve. The owner, Tammie Saxon, provided invaluable help getting me to my cottage and getting my disabled vehicle to servicing. Canoes and fishing gear are available. There's a large swimming pool area but the weather was too cool for pool activities during my stay. The manager, Lynn, made check in effortless and she had no problem extending my stay.

    The grounds were amozing.but the roof was bad and we experienced flooding on floor of our room.and had to use every towel in the cottage to keep the floor dry

    The cottage was very nice and updated! Plenty of linens and towels. Quiet area. We got right in when we arrived. Very helpful and friendly staff. The suggested "Fish House" in which to eat was delicious and within walking distance. The river view was serene and laid-back. It was an enjoyable weekend!

    Very nice and cozy and clean. Lots of palm trees and shade. Our cottage and the pool was like a little paraise. The price is very reasonable.

    A quiet and very clean cottage that had everything we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bath were well equipped with all the necessities. Situated next to the Manatee River, the lovely deck/dock area was the perfect spot to fish or relax under a pergola with a good book and a glass of wine. This is not an upscale resort, but it is a charming, quaint and romantic place to stay.

    Super cozy little cottages tucked up by the little Manatee river. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Very clean and the price was reasonable. Perfect for a fishing trip. A truly hidden gem.
