He explained that the owner of the house, Mohammed, had told him that it wasn't about money, the only important thing was that the guests were happy and that they were treated like family. The landlord, Mohammed himself, took us into the desert and treated us to a big dinner in the middle of the dunes, and when a sandstorm came up, Mohammed even conjured up an innovative shelter for us out of flying carpets. On the day of our departure, we were surprised by Mohammed and his children who visited us with presents, we experienced the great hospitality of Oman first hand and felt at home, and now, back home, we miss it very much.
