Have to start by saying that our stay at Rattehinn exceeded our expectations. It feels home, as a one united family. Having the opportunity to interact with owners, staff and guest was invaluable and unique. If you are looking to connect with pure nature and experience true local culture this is the place for you. We cannot wait going back to Rattehinn soonest.

Excellent hospitality and facilities!

This is exactly the type of accommodation that will be remembered for life because it has that perfect mix of beauty, comfort and hospitality. At the center of it all is the host Shifau. He's super kind and welcoming and sooo laid back. You will immediately slow down and relax like never before. The day starts with a breakfast of your choice - we opted for Maldivian every day and the mas huni (prepared by Shifau's mother) was so tasty and nutritious that you forget about being hungry for the rest of the day. The room is large with good air-con (we appreciated the low-noise mode at night). The bed is comfortable and perfect after a whole day at the beach snorkeling. The garden surrounding the villa is fantastic and there is also a terrace upstairs to relax in the evening. Imho location is also great, as it's close to the western beautiful side of the island and you can easily reach the 2 bikini beaches through lush plantations and coconut groves. We initially thought bicycles are needed (and Shifau can organize some for you), but in the end we walked everywhere because that's so enjoyable as there is always something to observe. We also opted for one dinner at the beach. Shifau and his team can organize it for you and we thought it's a magical experience: you will enjoy good food, barefoot, while watching the sun go down.

Of all the travels that we have done and all the hotels that we have stayed in so far, we have never experienced such an attentive host, for all the requests, be it our choice of breakfast be it arranging water sports or anything else the host went above and beyond to ensure we have a pleasant stay throughout, it is also as a very budget friendly island with all facilities available.Highly recommended for any families planning to visit Maldives to visit Gaafaru and stay in Futtaru Sands.

We stayed here 9 nights and we couldn't be happier! The place is very nice, it is always clean, the bedrooms are very comfortable and they are also always impeccable. The hotel offers free bikes, it's a plus on hot days! The hotel is also very well located near the centre and the beach. The breakfast area is very cosy outdoors with a very relaxing garden and view. The staff is always present and is very friendly and kind. Special mention to Waruna who attended us at breakfast and cleaned our room daily, always with a smile and well predisposed. Also to Anoof who received us the first day, gave us the information we needed about the island and helped us with everything we needed. We also did the whaleshark excursion and we had a very good guide, it was an unforgettable experience. I recommend this place without hesitation to spend your days in Dhigurah :)

The location is perfect, you can see the whole beauty of nature just in few minutes of walking, blue lagoon is amazing, the staff is great, the chef is very good, the food and coffee is gorgeous. I would like to come back.

Loved staying at Isla Retreat. Rooms are modernly designed, beds are extremely comfortable, every little detail is thought out. We had a full board. Food was very delicious. My wife and I recently stayed at Ecoboo Hotel for our honeymoon, and it was an incredible experience! Right from the start, we were treated to exceptional service. After arriving on the island, we were warmly greeted by the hotel manager. As a welcome, we received delicious drinks and personalized glass water bottles, which was a lovely touch! 😊One of the standout features of Ecoboo is its sustainable approach to water sourcing, as they produce their own water on-site. Our stay was truly unforgettable, with delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff. Every day, there were exciting excursions available for us to enjoy.The island itself is stunning, home to fascinating wildlife such as bats, herons, and eagles. At night, sharks come close to the shore, adding to the unique experience. The hotel’s style and atmosphere are both unique and captivating.We highly recommend Ecoboo Hotel for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful stay in the Maldives! 😊
