the super friendly and observant night staff Tom was very welcoming and spotted us and heard us parking at the back of the hotel then coming right out to help us with our bags! like most country hotels, staircase up is a big narrow if you have big suitcases, we were fine with just hand lugguages, the room was bigger than we thought and the bathroom was clean and the bed very large and wide! arm chair tea and coffee are all there, very cosy indeed, front staff in the morning was friendly too and breakfast was super!

We enjoyed a lot our stay at the New Inn. The staff was super nice and kind. Our room was spacious and clean, dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were awesome. Truly recommended if you are planning for a stop nearby.

It was all we needed and wanted. Arrived late so just enjoyed the bar, didn’t try the food. Plenty of restaurants close by.

The aesthetic nature of the hotel drew us in right from the start. The room were a comfortable bijou size, enough room to get around while encapsulating the pokey nature of old British buildings. The room was well decorated and well lit. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the digital clock on the bedside table was a lovely added touch. The soaps in the bathroom were beautiful and very fragrant. There was a safe provided, free of charge, for valuables. This was located in a roomy wardrobe that also included bathrobes, extra pillows, iron and ironing board and a hairdryer. There was an electric heater in the room if needed but we didn't!

The Egypt Mill Hotel is situated in the unspoilt Cotswold town of Nailsworth. The 16th century riverside hotel features a restaurant and bar.
