Excellent location close to the university, walkable to the train station. Staff were wonderful and, at my request upon checking in, immediately changed my room to face away from the train (I had just spent a few nights in another city and could not sleep because of the train). I have no idea whether you can hear the train from this hotel, though - maybe you can not hear it anyway.

Situated in the picturesque market town of Garstang and only 30 minutes from Preston, Lancaster and Blackpool.
