We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel and would choose to stay here again without hesitation. In fact, we'll be recommending it exclusively to our family and friends. The location couldn't have been better—it was conveniently situated just 20 minutes away from Malioborro Street, and we loved that a shopping mall was within walking distance. Plus, having a supermarket right in front of the hotel made it incredibly convenient for any last-minute needs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us warmly and were always ready to assist. When we mentioned that the air conditioning in our room wasn't cooling enough, they immediately addressed the issue, showing their dedication to guest satisfaction. Speaking of the room, it was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary amenity kits, which added an extra touch of luxury to our experience. Overall, our stay at this hotel was nothing short of perfect. Breakfast was awesome - it covered every possible option. The location is absolutely beautiful - if a little far from Yogyakarta. However any closer and you'd be unlikely to get this peace and serenity.

The staff friendly and helpful . Very attentive and polite all the times. Even the security staff at the entrance. Just need to provide more varieties for the dishes (local food) Rice 1 protein and another side dish not enough . Should have more local dish for tourist like ne to try. The western area maybe need a bit more items like bake beans hash brown and cold meat like chicken ham and some cheese ..bread should also include wholemeal for health conscious traveller like me ...

Second time I've stayed at the POP Hotel and very pleased with the standard and cleanliness of the rooms and attention to detail by the "housekeeping staff". Excellent air conditioning after a hot days, sightseeing! Withinconvenient walking distance to the Tugu Monument and only 15 minutes further to the main Yogyakarta Tugu Railway Station. Private car park in front of the hotel for our "rental car" and also convenient as a drop of/pick up point for the cheap GRAB taxis to all parts of the city. Handy little shop next to reception for late night hot and cold snacks/drinks and thanks to the ever helpful reception staff Nadya & Fauzan who looked after all our requests/questions in their excellent English! Definitely POP HOTEL SANGAJI is a "little gem" in Yogyakarta!
