The property exceeded our expectations. A beautiful Italian home with kitchen and beautiful traditional fireplace in the dinning room. The lovely bedroom above was perfect for us. However, the visit was made perfect by the hospitality of Francesca who met us and made us feel very welcome. The parking was also very easy.

Surrounded by 50 hectares of its own vineyards, Locanda Palazzone is just 5 km outside of Orvieto. It features a garden with swimming pool and panoramic countryside views.

Everything! We loved the experience of staying in a vineyard hotel! It was our second time in a hotel like that and at Locanda we felt like home! Everything was absolutely great! The visit at the Etruscan Cave, the wine tasting and the dinner were wonderful. We are very grateful to have found this “refuge” in Umbria. Without a question, we shall be coming back in the future! The Hotel is beautifully located in the green with stunning views of the Bolsena lake. It is best reachable with car and several destinations in the area are close. What mad sour stay exceptional was Margarita, who really cared about us and our needs. That is something rare nowadays and we really appreciated that.

The decor was out of this world! Absolutely stunning place to stay, very luxurious at a great price. The particular suite we stayed had a fantastic jacuzzi bathtub which was a highlight. Also the reviews don't lie, the breakfast is quite the feast!

To start with, the location is not only excellent (right in the middle of historical Viterbo, walking distance to most things), but you also have parking inside (and space for normal-sized cars too), which can be a life saver when travelling by car. Nice (and very clean) room, and for a very reasonable price (have been to city accommodations half as good for twice the price). Also provided disposable indoor slippers, which is instantly a +1. Lastly, can mention that the owner also has a nearby restaurant (c. 2min walk), called La Chimera, which I can strongly recommend. I do not normally give 10/10 unless very deserving, i.e. going above and beyond, but this place deserves it.

Set in the green Monti Cimini Hills, this 4-star hotel offers a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and a furnished gazebo.
