I returned to the E&O as a guest after 10 years. My room was in the Heritage wing which was quieter than the new Victoria annex that was bustling with tourists. The room was spacious and the bed very comfy. The view from the pool on the 6th floor of the Victoria annex is spectacular. Breakfast in the Sarkies restaurant was abundant with a good selection of food. Over the weekend it can however become crowded and noisy due to the many families with kids. E&O’s location is very convenient as it is just a couple of minutes away from the Blue Mansion and the UNESCO Heritage area of George Town. I regretted that I could stay for only two nights.

Located in the capital city of Penang, Seven Terraces is only within a 5-minute walk to the significant Goddess of Mercy Temple and the popular Penang Peranakan Mansion.

The bathroom solution in a wide balcony - superb. Room was very spatious.

Campbell House is conveniently located a 5-minute drive from Penang Museum and is surrounded by a variety of local shopping and eating options.

Great location with easy access to Georgetown attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. My room was very quaint, bed was extremely comfortable. The downstairs restaurant was a bonus and wonderful food. Lovely upstairs outside area to enjoy a drink and chat to fellow travellers.

Breakfast was very good but there could have been more local food choices. Excellent antique decor and architecture. Very comfortable room and good bathrooms.

THE DESIGN AND DECOR OF THE HOTEL IS LIKE A HOME. IT'S SMALL AND COSY. WE STAYED AT THE TERRACE SUITE ROOM NO. 4. IT HAD 2 LARGE DOUBLE BEDS AND 1 SINGLE BED. WE STAYED FOR 5 NIGHTS. ROOM 4 WAS SPACIOUS AND VERY COMFORTABLE FOR THE 4 OF US ESPECIALLY AFTER A HOT DAY OF WALKING AROUND THE HERITAGE SITE.

Very spacious room (transfer 8) with large bed, spacious bathroom and well situated in city centre. Decoration was nice and lights were cosy. Breakfast was goed and whole atmosphere was very warm and positive.
