They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

The hotel is very elegant and centrally located. It was possible just to walk to most of the sights in George Town. Our room was very comfortable and really spacious. There was a big variety of different dishes at breakfast and everything was delicious.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. They know well about the sightseeing places around there and gave us useful advices of our trip. And the interiors of the room were amazing! We took a lot of photos in the room. It was like a film set.

Loved our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable especially considering we had our baby with us. The room was spacious, carpeted floor was clean - great for a crawling baby. Breakfast spread was abundant and delicious, their rice porridge and cheese omelette was a big hit with my 9mo. One breakfast staff in particular stood out - Dayang was her name, she was very pleasant and friendly.

Very cozy boutique hotel - great alternative for skyscraper places. Personel is great, breakfasts are good. Place is surrounded by green plants, illuminated during nights. It is in the central George Town, but on the quiet street, so no noise and car traffic.

This boutique hotel is housed in 3 rows of 2-storey shophouses originally built in the 1940s. A lovely base for exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site of George Town.
