Liked everything, from the very beginning moment. I was thinking to cancel the reservation here to look for another hotel closer to plaza. Thanks God I didn't cancel it. Hotel is amazing, nice decorated, rooms were big, clean. But the most amazing thing was that they checked in us at 8am, because we arrived to Arequipa early in the morning and also we got 8 rooms instead of 6, so those who were nor couples had their own rooms. Not enough words to thank all of the staff for amazing stay. See you next time!

La Casa del Melgar is a charming little hotel with rooms spread all around lovely colonial courtyards, to enjoy beyond just sleeping and having breakfast. Location is perfect, very central but on a quieter road than some in the immediate surroundings. The staff has been very helpful with us. Breakfast is simple but very good and full of fresh produce and fruit. Really recommended!

This place is great. Had a room overlooking the central plaza and church. I was able to walk everywhere from here.
