Free WiFi access is available and rooms come with a flat-screen smart TV. The property offers free parking. We had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house in Obertraun. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with so much attention to detail that made our stay special. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we woke up each morning to breathtaking views of the mountains. It was the perfect base for discovering Hallstatt and the beautiful surroundings. We truly didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. I liked everything! The location is amazing, secluded and calm but also has everything you need like food at the restaurant or 5 minutes away by car at any supermarket. I would definitely come again. Friends' groups, however, shall watch out for the showering situation 😂 it is more like a romantic getaway 😉 but I still had lots of fun with my friend there. Ah the Seilbahn is 5 minutes away aaand Hallstaat is about an hour, although I don't recommend leaving the heaven of this place and going to the touristic horror of Hallstaat.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. Difficult to say what we liked the most because we loved it all. The size, quality of the room. Fancy decoration, good coffee and quality furniture in the room. The private balcony with the fantastic view, The nice and helpfull manager and staff, the quality of the breakfast and the other food and wine, the clean and peaceful garden with quality furniture, bath and sauna possibilities alone with full access to the lake. We felt very lucky to have found and chosen this place.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. This individually designed countryside hotel offers 4-star comfort and features a private bathing place and a lakeside garden. There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. This hotel is in the center of Sankt Wolfgang, right on the lake shore, offered everything you need. The room with a balcony and comfortable bed was a great place to relax. The breakfast was rich and diverse, including ham, salami, cheese, delicious spreads, fresh pastries, eggs made to order, yogurts, fruits, vegetables. Having breakfast indoors or on the terrace with a view of the lake was great. I would like to return here!

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. Nice place to stay near to hallstat. Everything was good and we enjoyed staying here.

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. All the linens/towels were clean as new. The design of the room was minimalistic and comfy. The room size is excellent. Location is 10 mins walk from the center but it’s better because the center is overcrowded and noisy.
