These are the kindest and most attentive people - hands down made the stay as great as it was. Also the food… very good. To anyone thinking twice about the price, trust me, it’s worth it. We cannot wait to plan our next vacation to the area and stay here again.

Pousada Do Ouro is a pleasant 18th century house in the historical region of Paraty. Just a 10-minute walk from Pontal Beach. The guest house has an outdoor pool and views of the garden, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. Everything about this place is perfect and totally worth the money. The staff was incredible and make our stay perfect from the beginning to the end. We arrived early morning (4am) and everyone was extremely helpful despite our inconvenient timing. The breakfasts are delicious (try sweet version of the local pancake called tapioca) and the localization of the place is perfect, just inside the historical part of the town. This was such an amazing and relaxing stay and we will recommend this place to everyone. If we will ever come back to Brazil, it will be to Paraty and Pousada do Ouro, it’s magical!
